Black Bear Bungalow

While traveling around north Georgia, this property met our needs of being in nature. However, the home itself was much smaller than shown in the photos. It felt very cramped. It looked poorly maintained and was dusty. It had listed a feature of a fireplace, but the fireplace was not in working condition. There were some food items in the cabinets that were expired and many of the pots and pans were in terrible condition. The toilet seat was barely attached to the toilet and the refrigerator did not fit in its space so it was difficult to open and close. The couch felt like it was falling apart and had very little cushioning. The air conditioner was very loud even if just the fan was on. There was no dishwasher as well as no drain board. Overall, if we had better information on the property ahead of time, we would have either not stayed there or been more prepared.

Loved the place; nice quiet and cozy. We did have a small issue but Jason was amazing and fixed it right away which allowed us to enjoy the stay. We would book with them again.

We had such an amazing stay here! The home was absolutely adorable, and the interior had the coziest cabin vibe—it really made the whole experience feel special and relaxing. The location was perfect, being right in the Appalachian Trail area, which made everything feel peaceful and surrounded by nature. Everything was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. It was the perfect little getaway spot, whether you’re looking to unwind or explore the outdoors. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, scenic escape. 🪵 🌲 🦌
