White Tail Hollow

This cabin is older so we expected some things to not be perfect. It was ok clean wise but could definitely use a thorough and more in depth cleaning. The ceiling fans all had dust on them. I noticed cobwebs in several places. We turned the fan on in the loft the last afternoon there and went to go to bed and there had been rat poop and rat fur fall we assume from the fan. All of the pillows on the beds could use to be replaced. Two pillows barely equal to one normal size pillow. We are a family of 5 and when we got to the cabin we noticed there was only 5 rags and 5 towels. We stayed for 2 nights. That only covered one shower a piece. I messaged to see about getting another set of 5 for our second night stay and shower and kept being told he would contact house keeping to get us some and that never happened. I asked for a one night refund to stay somewhere else and he said he couldn’t do that. So instead we had to purchase what we needed for another shower for us all after being out.

Great little cabin. Worked out perfect for me and my family. We would definitely stay here again. It’s conveniently located right outside of Elijah and all the outdoor activities we wanted to do.

This stay was not one of my favorites. Cabin itself was a decent size and I think that with a little bit of help it could be much more Super Host quality. I was disappointed by the amount of messages I received about this stay. It was way overkill. I found it rather irritating and it made my check in take forever due to having to screen so many messages. I also got locked out out the property and had to go back and look for the hidden code again. It was a royal pain. Bring your own pillows when staying here. They had the absolute cheapest quality paper thin pillows, and I was so grateful I brought my own. Nothing was set up for us. The grill barely worked and ugh it was filthy. Sitting area had beer cans in the pit, chairs were covered in bugs, so nobody cleaned anything prior to our arrival. Front porch was also filthy. Front door is covered in feces, and since the sitting area was gross, we just sat in our own chairs out front. Road noise is also bad. We won't be back.
